About Me
Hi! my name is Rachel and i own BOW WOW MEOW PETSITTERS.
I started BOW WOW MEOW because i've always loved being around
animals and and i wanted to give them the love and attention they deserve while their owners are at work or on holiday etc.
I am not in this business to toss down a bowl of water or a plate of food, let your pet out for a quick potty break and then be on my way! I enjoy my job because i get to spend quality time with each and every animal i look after.
I have a national award in Animal Management (passed with a
distinction). I have also completed a dog / cat first aid training course
with Animal Aiders. Currently i am studying for my dog training
instructors certificate and for a qualification in dog psychology.
I also volunteer at the local rescue centre where i walk the dogs
and do pre and post home visit checks.
My love for animals started as a child growing up with cats, several
rabbits, hamsters, budgies, fish and any wildlife that needed a home.
I was always the one bringing home some weird and wonderful
creatures. Through the years i have been blessed with some
wonderful pets of my own and i am currently owned by a rough collie x
huskie and a Rottweiller.
I support various animal charities including Cats Protection, Rottweiller Rescue, IFAW, WSPA and PETA.
I am also a member of the proactive pet sitters association.
My company is based on the belief that my customers needs are of
the utmost importance. While your pets are in my care they will be
treated as one of my own and receive lots of tlc and most
importantly fun fun fun. I also understand that each pet has it's own personality and i respect them for who they are!
