SERVICES & PRICES
An initial Consultation is required for all new clients before any service begins.This consultation is free and involves rachel coming to your home to meet you and your pets. During this consultation rachel will learn as much as possible about your pets, their routines and their personalities.
We will also complete our consultation forms, which will request all the necessary information such as emergency contacts, dietary requirements and veterinary information.
At this time we can schedule your pet sitting service.
MINIMUM VISIT POLICY
BOW WOW MEOW PETSITTERS operate a minimum visit policy.
For the well being of your pets, at the very least they must be seen on a daily basis. Under no circumstances can i agree to scheduling visits every other day if you are away for more than 10hrs.
DOG WALKING
All our dogs can be taken on individual walks, these type of walks are also ideal for dogs that do not socialise well with other dogs.
I also offer small group walks (max 4). Group walks are an excellent way of keeping your pooch well socialised. When your dog first joins one of my group walks they will be kept on a rover lead. This allows them to still join in with the other dogs on the walk but it also allows me to evaluate their behaviour and social skills. Once i am happy with their progress and sure that they will respond to my recall and with the owners permission the
dog(s) will be allowed off lead to have some real fun.
My first concern is the safety of your dog so i only take them on safe walks and way from busy roads where possible.
I use a variety of walks including fields,beaches and woodlands as i do not want them to get bored and there is always fresh water supplied.
All walks can be adjusted to your pets needs.
(Walk time does not include the drive to and from the location)

When your dog is returned home they will be cleaned off and checked over to ensure they have no cuts, grazes or ticks etc.
If they do then they will be given first aid treatment and you will be informed.
As i like to ensure that all our clients pets are kept as healthy as possible i ask you that your dog is kept up to date with vaccinations, flea, tick and worming treatments to reduce the spread of disease.
I play a vital role in keeping disease down this includes the picking up and disposing of any dog mess in the appropriate bins.
Please note that i do NOT advocate the use of prong collars or choke chains therefore if your dog wears one it will be removed from your dog whilst in our care and placed on a suitable collar.
CAT SITTING
This service is a less stressful alternative to a cattery, where your beloved cat can be left in its own environment and be cared for by me.
If you are out for the day or you have to go away for any reason then i can look after your cat for as long as you require. Not only will you be happy knowing that your cat is well cared for but they will be happy to.
They will be pampered, played with and receive lots of TLC.
This service does include the care of kittens.
During the visit i can also take care of:
Feeding (including special diets and medication)
Cleaning of feeding area and bowls
Basic grooming
Changing litter trays
Cleaning up any accidents
House security - Keeping the lived in appearance
1 to 2 x 30 minute visits a day - £7
3 x 30 minute visits - £10
SMALL ANIMAL CARE
I also take care of the small furry ones to!
Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Hamsters etc.
And the not so furry ones!
Fish and tortoises
During the visit i can also take care of:
Feeding (including special diets)
Cleaning of cages
Home security - keeping the lived in appearance
30 minute visit - £5
If you own these pets in addition to either dogs or cats, please just add £3.
SMALL ANIMAL BOARDING
We now offer small animal boarding for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds etc. Your rabbits and guinea pigs will stay in a large hutch which has a playpen area inside our secure weather proof outbuilding so they will be protected from the elements and depending on the weather they will be able to get some daily exercise in the outside run.
Smaller animals such as hamsters and birds will be boarded in our house. Hay and bedding will be provided but you must provided your own food.
During there stay they will receive:
Fresh food and water daily
Fresh bedding
Daily health check eg nails,eyes,skin and coat
Daily cuddle

PUPPY CARE
The first few months of a puppy's life is extremely important. At this stage of their life they are like a sponge and need as much socialisation and different experiences as possible.When your new pup is allowed out we can introduce them to other friendly dogs of all shapes and sizes.This should eliminate the possibility of fear aggression and help the new pup to be comfortable around other dogs without fear or other psychological hang ups. Until then puppies require regular care and company throughout the day.
So this service is especially for the little ones.I offer blocks of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home.During my visit i will walk them,play and i can also help with ongoing training such as toileting and basic commands and of course lots of TLC.
During the visit i can also take care of:
Feeding (including special diets and medication)
Basic grooming
Cleaning up any accidents
Cleaning of feeding areas and bowls

ELDERLY DOG CARE
Dogs require more regular care and attention as they get older.
My elderly dog care service is designed for owners with older dogs
that need caring for a bit more. So i offer blocks of time during the day to visit your dog(s).Where they will receive lots of TLC.
During my visit I will also take care of:
A walk tailored to their needs
Feeding (including special diets and medication)
Basic grooming
Cleaning up any accidents
Cleaning of feeding area and bowls
1hr 30mins visit - £20
Our elderly pet care and puppy care service can be split into two visits depending on your requirements or the length of time that you are away from home.
